Customers.Com: How to Create a Profitable Business Strategy for the Internet and Beyond by Patricia B. Seybold (Contributor), R. T. Marshak, Ronni Marshak

Patricia Seybolt's consulting firm helps large companies adopt new technologies. In this book she shows us how sixteen large companies have successfully implemented comprehensive internet strategies. Emphasis is on how the internet is being used to inhance and strengthen their customer-to-business relationships.

The book is an effective primer on commerce in the age of the internet. Its focus is on helping readers grasp the big picture - precisely what you need if you are to play any kind of significant role in the shift of businesses into the internet age.

Enterprise.Com : Market Leadership in the Information Age by Jeff Papows, David Moschella

This book is about the transformations underway in the business world as a result of advances in information technologies. The book looks at what is happenning now and looks at the implications on the businesses of the future. Jeff Papows perspective, as the President and CEO of Lotus, is an insiders view of the impact of new technologies. He knows firsthand the hurdles and benefits facing large enterprises as they are forced to reinvent themselves as a result of new technologies. He explains how information technologies can be used for strategic and competitive advantage. He also discusses the hurdles enterprises face. I'm struck by how this book illustrates the importance of leadership in dealing with change - Lotus is fortunate to have Papows. A great web business book.
