With amazing ease and suprising flexibility, you can create quality web graphics or use them in your powerpoint presentations, or even your word processing documents. The graphic at the left and the similar heading above, each took less than a minute to create in Xara3d - thats far less time than creating something similar would have taken in other graphics programs - yet the results are very professional. The image is 6k.

For this example
I gave the "shadow" a color and adjusted its position and intensity
to give it a backlit look. It is only 6k in size. This kind of effect
really looks great against a black background - click here

With Xara3d, any fonts or wingdings you have installed on your computer can be used to create great custom web graphics. It is really fun to use some of the wild freeware fonts available on the net! This one is called "bloody" and the high quality image created is only 6k in size. With Xara3d you can easily give your text thickness and adjust its edges to look smooth or ...

Make it look angular. This 5k example has a beveled edge treatment. Xara3d allows you to choose from 15 different edge profiles. In this example the shadow has been give a greater offset to make the graphic "float" above the page. Rather than use a flat color for the fill this example uses a bitmap as a texture.

This 7k example also features a bitmap fill. The angle of the graphic was easily adjusted slightly. I also adjusted the space between letters - in this example that space was eliminated to make the letters flow together. Making adjustments in Xara3d is very easy because you can see the effects of those adjustments as you make them. The program is very intuitive.

This 6k example shows that you can use photographic fills. This one features a small pic of yours truly. Handsome eh? I easily assembled a jpg graphic of my head against a graduated background in Xara X. I then simply used that jpg as a fill for the letters in Xara3d. For fills or backgrounds Xara3d will import gifs, jpgs, bmp, and even png files. ( While I most definitely am a serious hunk, my wife says I really should have made this graphic say "NERD" - please don't listen to her - she doesn't see the obvious! ).

This shining example is only 6k in size. The creative possibilities are endless with Xara3d. You can combine standard fonts with a variety of extrusion/edge bevel options. Then add flexible lighting/shadow effects and the use of bitmap fills - even if it were hard to use you'd have a killer graphics tool! But Xara3d is very easy to use and it does even more ...

| I've
shown several Xara3d examples. All were easy to create and I had alot of
fun making them. If the above examples were the total extent of the kinds
of graphics Xara3d is capable of creating I would still think it is a great
program - The reality however is that Xara3d has even more capabilities!
