You know alot. You've experienced alot. Chances are you know things that aren't common knowledge. The idea of this page is that you can create a website as a vehicle for sharing some of that knowledge. You can have fun doing it. Having knowledge isn't necessarily the same thing as being an "expert". You don't have to be an expert to share your knowledge so don't let your non-expert status hold you back. I create DesignStop.Com to share ideas and knowledge. I don't need to be an expert to do that. I'm not an expert and I don't pretend to be. Lets say you know a great card trick. You could create a website that teaches others the trick. Perhaps they'll get as much pleasure performing it as you have. A series of pages could demonstrate each step in performing the trick. You could make it your goal to teach the trick better than anyone else. It wouldn't matter if other sites out there also have instructions for the same trick - yours can be the best. You could round out the site with links to other card trick sites; there are probably dozens of them. You could even sign up as an amazon.com associate and recommend card trick books like this good one to your site visitors. I chose card tricks as an example because they're something most of us can't do. I once saw a recipe in a cookbook for "beans & wieners". It said to open a can of beans and stir in a cut up wiener! I can't imagine anyone reading that cookbook who didn't already know how to prepare the gastronomic dish. Please stay away from "beans & wiener" content on your website. Stick with subject areas that aren't common knowledge. Someone will be interested. With a bit of promotion you might just find alot of people are interested. They'll appreciate that you unselfishly shared your knowledge to help them. Sharing your knowledge will make you feel great! Like I noted above - it's in our nature to share knowledge. That's precisely why when you do it you feel such fulfillment. My hope is that in whatever you do with your website, you try sharing some of your knowledge. Let others learn from your experiences and ideas and feel some of the personal fulfillment that comes with it.
