The last time I checked the hopelesslylost.com domain name, it was still available. You can check it out for yourself right now; just fill in the box below and click the go! graphic to submit it. If it is still available and you like it - go ahead and register it. Either way, please use your browser's back button to return here: I think it's a
pretty good name because it expresses how so many people feel when they
use computers or the internet. It would be a great name for a site that
tries to help the dazed and confused. There are alot of poor souls who
fall into that catagory. Hey, and speaking of "poor souls" maybe
hopelesslylost.com would be a good name four an outreach ministry looking
to save lost souls - evangelize to them until they know the most direct
route to heaven. ( Straight and narrow path with no detours ). What do you think about using it as the name for a site that sells maps or guide books? Or maybe a site that sells those cool personal global positioning systems that track your position automatically on a map. You'll never be lost again ... Perhaps a better idea that would be to create a entertainment site that is the web equivalent of a maze. This is an idea that kept me awake at nights when I first started thinking about the possibilities. Visitors would wander around "hopelessly lost" trying to get through without giving up and resorting to closing their browser windows. To get from page to page they'd have to answer your carefully worded questions. You'd create a profile of each visitor from their answers. The profiles would be sold to your advertisers. To motivate your visitors, they would collect "points" ( via cookies scripts ) for every distinct page ( each complete with banner and contextual advertising ) that they visit in the maze. When they gather enough points they would get a very valuable freebie ( shampoo sample etc. ) supplied by your sponsors. Heck this idea is good enough for you to get a few million in venture capital! If you do - please throw several thousand bucks my way; tell the money people that I'm your imagineering consultant. Anyway, if you find any of these website ideas interesting be sure to check out my more detailed idea pages here at DesignStop.Com. Maybe you'll find one you'll want to make your own.
